Short history
TURISM MUNTENIA SA Society was founded in 1990, deriving from the former Tourism Districtual Office (TDO) Arges, which was divided into three tourism commercial societies. TDO Arges was founded in 1971, being at the time a centralized system of collecting, creating and offering information, bookings and advertising materials, in the tourism field.
At present, TURISM MUNTENIA society is a brand in the Arges area and national tourism, being well rated in its field.

Ultra central location
Benefiting from an ultra central location, with quality services, TURISM MUNTENIA society may well be considered the "zero kilometer" of Arges tourism.
In this area, of the modern center, are concentrated institutions and cultural establishments: Pitesti City Hall, The Districtual Council, The Prefecture, The Appellate Court, Banks, The Districtual Museum, The Districtual Library, Alexandru Davila Theatre, Art Galleries.
Every spring, in Pitesti City, the TULIP SYMPHONY charms our souls with a true representation of beauty and good taste, which is the representative event that gave the name of "city of tulips".
As compared to Bucharest – the capital of Romania, our strengths are:
